Original Post: *** LEAGUE MANAGEMENT ***
I've spent a fair amount of time this winter thinking about golf league, so I think this feature is ready to roll. I'm still leaving this as a free feature, so please take advantage of it. If you're a member of a recurring foursome, or a league or any kind, use it and send me feedback. As I have indicated previously, league management will eventually be a fee-based feature, but not until it's been fully used, tested, and approved by you!
Thanks!

Original Post: Hey everybody...due to a change in role at my full-time job, I was unfortunately taken away from actively working on the site. Things have settled down now, so I'm back to paying attention to the site. As the golf season winds down (at least for us in the Midwest), this is an opportunity for me to think about key features to add for next spring, so please send me any feedback you may have.
Thanks!

Original Post: The 2007 golf season is officially underway and I'm as excited as ever about golf. I plan to spend much more time on golf courses and plan to also focus more time on BirdieTracker.com. I've received a lot of good feedback from many fellow members, but I'm reaching out to all of you to spread the word about the website. Word-of-mouth advertising is the best kind there is, so anything you can do is well appreciated. Examples of what you can do to help:
- Tell other golfers when you're on the golf course or at the driving range.
- Post comments on Blogs, Message Boards, NewsGroups, etc.
- Use the Referrals feature on the website to send an invitation directly to your email-able friends and family.
- Add a link from your own website to BirdieTracker.com
In addition, if anyone is creative, perhaps even a graphic artist, I think it's high-time the website has a nice looking logo and some small linkable images. Artistry is something I'm not very skilled at, so I'm reaching out to you!
Lastly, keep those suggestions coming! I've implemented many of the ideas you've already sent it, and promise to keep doing so in the future. The site will get better and better because of your input.
Hit 'em long and straight!
Thanks,
Ron Guarisco |

Great job by the way. Really like the site.
Another suggestion is to have some kind of way to have graphs that compare your scores and other stats with people that you normally golf with.

Hi Ron,
Been a few months since I've visited and I'm impressed! Nice job with the upgrades!
Played today here in CT. 55 degs lot of courses opening now or in the coming week. Today I matched my best 9 hole score of 60 (been playing for 1 yr) first time out... I'm optimistic that I will be shooting mid to low 50's this year (with some hard practice and few lessons of course).
Tee shots are killing me.
later
Tom.
